Ahead of slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wanis second anniversary, police tightened noose on separatist camp and the possible trouble mongers across Kashmir to prevent them from fomenting trouble.

All three Joint Resistance Leadership leaders comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik have either been detained in homes or lodged in police stations. Strict curbs have been imposed in downtown and many youth have been rounded up to prevent any untoward incident on July 8 the second anniversary of Burhan.

Many more security measures are on cards.
